What a consultation costs, and what happens in it

A $150 consultation for most matters, paid before your appointment. Free for personal injury.

A consultation is a meeting with an attorney about your situation. You leave knowing where you stand, what your options are, and what it may cost to move forward.

What it costs

For family law, tax resolution, estate planning, and other matters, the consultation is $150, paid before your appointment. Personal injury consultations are free.

Bring the papers listed on the page for your matter. The more we can see, the more specific we can be.

A callback is different

If you aren't sure you need a consultation, tell us what's going on and we'll call you back within one business day. The callback is free. It is a short call to see whether we can help, not legal advice.

After the consultation

If you hire the firm, we explain the terms and put them in writing: what we will do, how you will be billed, and who your contact is.

Personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee. You pay no fee unless we recover for you. The agreement sets out the percentage and whether you are responsible for case costs and expenses.

For other matters, the fee depends on the work involved. We explain how you will be billed, and give you an estimate, at the consultation.

Paying

Pay the $150 after you book and before your appointment. We accept card, ACH, Zelle, or cash at the office.

Your appointment is confirmed once payment is received.
